This is 'difficult' music. A thorough exploration of consonance and dissonance. (Try typing that with a straight face.) I can honestly say that I like it a lot, though it won't be everyone's cup of tea. To accompany the drum track, I tried to to be as random as possible, to disregard all of my normal fingering patterns, rely on instinct and just see where I wound up. This was the philosophy for the bass and both guitar tracks. I personally like the outcome, especially after it kicks in after a bit. The main riff might be lifted from somewhere, sounds too good to be original. Even so, it was more of a springboard. This was also kind of a "howdy" for me on the electric (as well as the bass, which I normally forego). I went a LONG time without access to one and I just have to learn the feel of it again. I put a sixth string on but it still needs a heavier set.
