I have a few things to say.

1)  It's too cold.  it takes threee layers of clothes not including a jacket... not to keep warm, but to prevent myself from getting frostbite.  I want spring break NOW.

2)  I hate CNN and I've moved onto another news site - MSNBC (Pei's suggestion).  There was a headline that said something about "Global Warming 'likely' to have been caused by humans."  likely?  LIKELY?  and I don't understand this.  tough shit if it hurts somebody's feelings, but there are SO many things that people can do to at least attempt to reduce the effects of global warming and all that nasty nonsense we're doing to the world.

I'm reading these books for one of my classes - The Long Emergency and National Capitalism - they're about oil shortages, renewable resources, how we're killing the earth, and all that stuff.  It makes me kind of angry.  but anyway.
  • people should recycle.  I don't understand why they don't.  In Japan and Korea there are fines if people don't recycle.  like parking tickets.  kind of.  Six months after the government put this into effect, everybody was recycling.
  • each person in the United States produces ONE MILLION POUNDS OF WASTE in the course of one year...  much of which can be recycled.  We only have so much space.  do you really want to landfill everything?
  • 56% of household water that is wasted is reusable with the use of a filtering system.
and those are just the basics.

People don't like to do things if they don't see the immediate results.  I understand that.  but people need to be educated, and they need to get off their lazy butts to try to make a difference.  damnit.

3)   I hate sluts, cheaters, and liars.  in no particular order.

4)  right now I'm in love with:
  • sleeping in on the weekends
  • hot chocolate and caramel apple cider (not together)
  • that it's going to start getting warmer next month
  • [most] of my classes
  • not having to work (for now)
  • my new candle holder thingy
  • Boyz II Men.  a new CD, I hear?
  •

whew.  okay.
have a nice day.
