Currently Playing: Flood

How cool is this...it's EASTER!!!  and this past weekend has been one full of wonderful things.  I was able to have an Easter dinner/feast with a group of friends that ended staying at school instead of going home to spend Easter with their families.  It was quite an experience.  The dinner was sensational and a chance to get to know some people that I only know as acquaintances and that was wonderful.  But not only that after dinner, we went to one of the most beautiful chapels I have ever been to (it's just a plus that it's on campus).  And everyone used some kind of gift God has blessed us with.  We have two guitarists and a violist, and a couple singers, and two piano players.  It was absolutly beautiful.  Then after that, we just hung out and fellowshipped with one another.  This morning was not the best morning weather wise, but it was nice to be able to get up before the sun came up and worship with friends at the sunrise service.  It was difficult to get up that early, but it was worth it!

Now for the past couple weeks.  Well Spring break was two weeks ago.  It was great. I got to go skiing in Snowshoe, West Virginia. I went with 3 other friends and it was such a great experience.  Definitely a great road trip that brought us closer together.  The weather was perfect while we were there. It was really beautiful.

Well, other than that, there isn't too much going on with me.  Just wrapping up the last couple of weeks of school, then I am free.  Well as free as one can be with a summer job..but i'm excited about that!

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!

Currently Playing: Abandon

For the past two weeks, I have cooked dinner 3 times.  It has been so cool.  I really enjoy it.  Last night, was a little rushed, but was still great.  I make quesadillas with torillas from Texas.  Thanks to my mom and grandma, for coming up over the weekend, I was able to have them.  The weekend was quite enjoyable also.  I had to sit duty friday night and saturday afternoon.  I cooked spaghetti friday night for a few friends.  I even made dessert.  It was good.  Then we had some really intense conversation about active passifism and other things in which some very relavent and interesting points were made.  We learned the most awesome card trick ever!!! It was so cool. We then continued to talk after a couple people left about different things, such as sin and homosexuality and things.  Anyway,  here is a picture of dinner sunday night with my mom and grandma and sister.

Anyway,  two more days, then SPRING BREAK!!!! If you can't tell, I am just a little excited.

So, this weekend was so good!  Friday night...well other than a friend getting a speeding ticket,  it was good.  I cooked dinner...so no d-hall for me.  YAY! and it was a smashing success.  Then watched the shawshank redemtion...so good. Then proceeded to  play sequence, then eat a little cookie dough.  Then Saturday, we went to the B-ham...and got to see Gaelic Storm! It was such a great concert!!! And I am so glad we went even though we didn't have tickets and the show was sold out! It was great. Enough about that though.

Back to beautiful Berry after having a very decent Christmas holiday.  I mean I really can't complain since I did get to go to England and see all the cousins aand everyone.   So, when I got back, I realized I can't eat as much as I normally do.  They pretty much starved me (well a little)...I guess I was just eating normal people prtions, which I am not used to at all.  I got to go to Lewes Castle! So much fun...

Yeah...that's me coming out of the door at the top of the castle.  Amazing view I must admit!  And here is one of Big Ben and the Parliment from the eye (a gigantic SLOW ferriswheel like thing)...
Anyway, I am back at school and slowly getting back into the swing of things.  I am taking a fairly decent load of classes with lots of reading and writing envolved, but I am managing.  At least I have raquetball to help with stress and the occassional anger management.  So, MLK was an amazing day!  We went to The cabin in the woods...AGAIN!!  It was great.  We were cold, but we definitely had fun hiking horseback riding and caving and what not....

CABIN IN THE WOODS was amazing!!!! I am so so so glad we did that last weekend. We cooked dinner: flank steak, cheesy potatoes, corn, bread, and apple pie; breakfast: pancakes and blueberry roll things; lunch: velveta mac and cheese (oh yeah<-- so much better than aramark) dinner: was cheesy potatoes and apple pie. Oh so good. And it was all made by us. So, other than cooking, we took the Mule out. And for those of you who might think a Mule was an animal...think again! That thing is a beast! It can do pretty much anything. Then after taking that out we went hiking a little and then went up to Chandler Mountain, which is the same mountain that Horse Pens 40 is on. And we got to see some incredible views. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Hope you enjoy those two...there are more, but that will have to do for now.
