Sooo... I've been MIA from Xanga for awhile but I'm still around. What's new? Well there's a new little addition to the household. Crazy little furball full of energy named Tiger. Here's some pictures:

Isn't he just darling?! Do kittens lose baby teeth? Because at first I thought he had two fangs and then all of a sudden Ira noticed he only had one. Then today I was looking at his teeth and his one fang was gone . I hope it was a baby tooth. Anyways, I picked him up from the Humane Society a couple of weeks ago. Every now and then I go down there to check out the animals they have and he caught my eye. I just had to have him.
Mochi's still with us. She's a little fat ass but I love her just the same. That cat is always hungry. She keeps eating Tiger's left over food. Hopefully with Tiger she'll be getting more exercise. They chase each other around a lot.

I took that picture of her in mid-yawn. She looks pretty vicious there. Anyway, enough about that.
So I saw Coach Carter the other day with Ira. "Where are we from?!" "Richmond!" Basically it's an inspirational movie that's based on the true story of a high school basketball coach that benched the entire team due to their poor academic performance. Apparently this made national news back in 1999 and even though this took place in my hometown of Richmond, California and I lived about 5 minutes away from Richmond High, I had never heard of this Coach Carter guy. Now normally I wouldn't willingly see a movie like this (I'm not really into sports movies) but I wanted to see this when I found out the movie took place in Richmond. To my surprise I ended up liking the movie. I was happy to see that they didn't portray Richmond as a war zone. Yes, it's ghetto, we know. But it was never like I'd be dodging bullets trying to walk down the street. I'm sure they sugarcoated a bunch of stuff but hey, it's Hollywood. It was disappointing to see that none of the filming had been done in Richmond but wherever it was filmed looked a lot like 23rd St. That's all I have to say about that...
On a random note... Ira washed and waxed the RSX today and decided to take pictures. Here they are:

Now if we could just do the same for the Prelude... *coughIRAGOWASHTHEPRELUDEcough* |
