Good morning and good day.

Well, today starts a new day. this last weekend Jo and I went down to Greenville SC to see my Grandfather and other relatives. We had a lot of fun visiting and seeing the city (a pretty city it is too). It was also nice that while we were down there we went over to Bob Jones and saw our good friends there. It was the first time they had seen us since before the wedding and it kinda felt weird to visit them as a married couple (and yes, for those of you who were wondering, we did hold hands on campus... it was great .

Now today is the Monday after a 3 day weekend, and this afternoon I will be going to class just like before, but with only one small difference. I'm getting the opportunity to start the course over again, but with a different teacher, which I believe is a good thing. So it should be interesting at least for a little while. It will be nice to be ahead of the power curve and not have to go to 4 hours of tutoring on saturday morning.

And just so you all know, I still love being married and I love Jo more now than ever before. Having a wife does change a lot of things, and takes some getting used to, but its more than wonderful to have her here with me. Its been wonderful to come home to her after class and just be with the one I love.

So thats all for now I suppose. Ive got to get going and conquer my day. enjoy.

hello all. once again it has been far to long since I have posted... for goodness sakes, I was single back then.

Life is wonderful here with my bride.. even the weather seems to appreciate her being here. I'm actually eating well now and enjoying the companionship. it seems somehow I'm more in love with her now than ever before.

The wedding was fun. Glad those of you who could come, came, and sorry those of you who didn't, couldn't. Everything was nice and beautiful, though honestly I wasn't really looking at much on account that before the wedding I was just waiting to see Jo, and afterwards she was all that I saw. The cake was good.

Classes are still classes... im still struggling through. Now especially its nice that Jo can bring me dinner and afterwards I get to come home to her and be with her until i have to get up and go to class again.

We have simply enjoyed doing things togetting... normal things like going to church, going to dinner, after being away from each other so long its really nice just to be normal and together.

I suppose thats about all the time I have for now, I need to go kiss my wife.

People are an interesting creation, and yet as indivisual as they all are, most all of them follow the same patterns and tendencies. For the most part, theyre all sheep.

Now with that said, I seem to have found myself surounded by the exceptions... not really the ones who broke the mold, more the ones who slipped out the back before anyone had done so much as put a fingerprint one them (and sometimes sliped down the loony hill on their way out).

I have always said that you have to be crazy to make it through this course, all the normal people quit and were gone the first week. Its just that the stable crazy people make it through and the ones that are unstable and crazy, those are the ones that dont make it. I am now more convinced of this theory than ever.

Its hard to explain exactly why ive been thinking about that lately, partly its because of the interesting dynamics I have in the class now. In the past I have mostly been around people who are at least nominally christian... now we have 3 athiests, 2 apethtic agnostic, 1 nominal christian, 1 who is just apethetic, my teacher is Muslum, and then theres me... the only professing christian. Needless to say, we have some very interesting discutions in class when talking about the culture of the middle east.

oh well, soon jo will be with me and then I can go home to a beauiful God fearing and loving wife instead of some random roomate. I wish I had more time to talk but sadly I must go practice my "alla achba" homework. ~enjoy

Hi there to all those I love.

I just want to throw this out there, but learning Arabic sucks. By far it has been the hardest thing of the entire length of training. So if anyone is considering learning it, I hope your motivated.

Other than that life is good. The wedding is getting close, cool weather is comming, friends and family are getting all the fun down in the New Orleans Lake (or there abouts), oh well.

It was nice to see some of you this last Labor Day. It seemed like such a short, long weekend but thats how it always goes. Sorry if I missed yall then, hopefully I'll see you at the wedding. Strange to think that the next time Im home is for then... good but strange.

Thats about all I have to say here for now, really not a lot going on, just struggling through the "ahelen wa sehelan" and "tesharufna" untill I get to see Jo next... this most definately is life. Love you all, see you soon. enjoy
