nothing really. it just so happened that the things i have done recently have something to do with charcoals and legos.
i've been busy with choir practices lately (but these are not those christmas concert types) and it so happened i passed by a stand that sells puto bungbong (rice cake). haven't eaten one yet - believe it. so to my excitement when i finally got the chance. wee!

(can you imagine how these tubes work?)

(prepare)

(and serve)

i paid P25 per serving so that makes almost 50 cents to a dollar. it has a sticky feel but the taste offsets everything. it's made of ube (purple yam) and sticky rice. added with coconut and margarine. viola! you got one great filipino specialty down to your tummy.
my officemate recently opened a coffee shop called Yagami Cafe. it's located in dela rosa st., makati city near greenbelt mall. i frequently visit the area not because the owner is a friend nor because it's just across the street (hehehe) but because i enjoy the servings there. tried their pasta and been coming back for more.

o yeah, try their iced tea. loved it!
my longtime friend, fides (gradeschool/highschool classmate) been asking me about our meet up at the fort. it's supposed to be a reunion for our batch but schedules just wouldn't jive so it's just me, her, tonyo, joseph, clemence (joseph's wife) and gabriel (joseph and clemence's wife) who went for a get-together. lunch treat from joseph at secret recipe's.

went to the tent for the bazaar which i really enjoyed because they've been selling my brands for a really low price. my credit card's got a temper so the whole time, i was convincing myself for control. after that, it's a stroll at the global city (no dinosaurs this time). just see what i saw. wuhoo!

fun times back once again. thanks fids for the box full of tuna turnover.
anyway, went strolling for some christmas gifts lately at glorietta, wishing i have more money. lol! it's near christmas and i haven't completed my lists yet. o well... can i just give everyone a not so meaty dish?

believe it!
