| A Happy Belated Mother's DayI was planning to write on Mother's Day, but fortunately I spent the day with my mom.
My Mom. What can I say about her? She's my best friend. There is nothing that I have ever hid from my mother. She always understands where I'm coming from and always listens to me when I'm having a problem. She'll make funny faces with me out of my car window when we're taking a drive. She keeps me on track with school and never forgets to ask how my day went. She has ESP when it comes to how I'm feeling, she gives me space or a shoulder to cry on. She makes me feel proud to be her daughter. She'll pull pranks with me on my brother. She'll take shots with me and my friends. She treats me and my brother equally, as adults. She'll check out guys with me at the mall, or on TV, or at a party. She's so confident that it gives me confidence. She'll tuck me in still if I ask her. I tuck her in to bed even if she doesn't ask me. Her kisses are free, unlike the ones on Facebook. She laughs at all my silly dances and crazy antics. She'll let me hug her even if she's not in the good mood and smile, genuinely. She'll let me know when I'm being stupid. She'll always help me if I ask for it. She'll talk to me about her problems, and gives me a chance to give her advice. She always calls me at the right time, especially when I'm not doing so good. She'll let me take her out for a girls' night out. She still worries when I get hurt, even if it's something a band-aid can fix. She's the one I've told all my secrets to, and I've never had to worry that she would tell anyone. She'll buy me books even though my room is overflowing with them. She'll sing-a-long with me to Disney songs, actually any song.
She's the one I inspire to be. She is and always will be my Mom.
That's my Mom.. she's just the best.
