Ok it's all on hold now. I just found out that the general here on Ft. Riley is not going to let me deploy until sometime around February now. I'll try to keep this updated as much as possible.

How do I say this. Well I guess I just say it, it's not like there is a whole lot to expain anyways. I am leaving the United States once again to go fight in a foreign land. I fly out for the middle east in several days. And once again my xanga will become a place of idleness. So, having got that out, at least everyone who reads this will understand why, if I don't respond in a timely manner, if at all, to messages and such. I will be gone for a whole year. We'll see how this all goes.

WORD, I havn't posted on here in so long, I don't know what to say. I don't know where to start, so much has happened since I don't know when. Well to start off I suppose I'll say I got back from Afghanistan the last day or two of May, just so that's been established. We were overthere fourteen and a half months. It shure seemed like it too, while we were there. Home sick, constant stress day after day, and on and on month after month. Desert, humid lush green valleys, and more desert. It seemed like it was taking forever. Now that I'm back though, it seems to have left me for the most part. I mean, I don't feel the way of things overthere anymore. I have to sit and think sometimes just to remember what all we did, where we went, the old schedule, how I felt while I was there and all that. Once in awhile I'll remember some details I havn't thought about since we left Afghanistan. Life goes on though, back here at Ft. Riley. And there is not much happening here at Ft. Riley. We are just back here in the United States. Doing nothing. Until my Battalion disbands that is, the time of which is nearing. A few more weeks I think, and everyone will be gone. I am supposed to report to a new unit here on Ft. Riley in a few days, but I don't know who I am going to yet. I'll find that out soon.
